Tesoro Del Alma
A REAL SPANISH TREASURE BURIED IN THE CABALLO MOUNTAINS OF NEW MEXICO
Project Discription
Nicholas V. Fleming/Tesoro del Alma first filed a Treasure Trove Claim on the present site on July
23, 1993. The site is located in the State of New Mexico, near the town of Truth or Consequences
in the foothills of the Caballo Mountain Range. The site is under the management of the Bureau of
Land Management, Las Cruces District Office. After the filing of the required permits, Nicholas V.
Fleming/Tesoro del Alma contracted with the respected geophysical testing firm, Zonge
Engineering, of Tucson, Arizona to conduct a NanoTEM Survey of the permitted site. The
NanoTEM Survey provides an electronic "picture" of the composition of the subterranean
geography on electrical conductivity at various pre-determined depths. The NanoTEM Survey is a
widely used and respected method for surveying existing underground formation. It is a widely
utilized tool employed primarily by the petroleum industry for locating lost drill bits and underground
deposits metallic containing materials. The NanoTEM Survey was conducted by Zonge
Engineering to depths of 10, 20, and 30 meters at the Tesoro de Alma treasure trove site.
The results according to the independent analysis confirms several extermely highly conductive
areas in approximately the twenty to thirty meter range below the service. Upon receipt of the
NanoTEM results, a formal map of the site was prepared to both delineate the exact target sites as
well as substantiate the previous Treasure Trove Claim on File. An independent United States
Mineral Surveyor was contracted and the target site located and deemed "TDA Lode 6". With the
proper claims on file, the target site documented by a Survey Report and NanoTEM Survey, and
operational plan to extract the treasure trove was formulated.
Under the direction of the Project Manager, Mr. Jeffrey Kramer, of Nevada-Manhattan Mining Co.,
the services of Harrison Western Mining and Construction of Lakewood, Colorado were called
upon to provide a comprehensive method of TDA Lode 6 site. Mr. Robert Martin, Vice President of
Harrison Western Mining and Construction developed a plan of excavation and reclamation of TDA
Lode 6. Harrison Western Mining and Construction is fully licensed in the State of New Mexico to
conduct mining and construction operations. Descriptive details of the procedure of extraction are
available upon request.
In accordance with information received from the Bureau of Land Management, Las Cruces District
Office, Nicholas V. Fleming/Tesoro del Alma has contracted with Frontier Archaeology of Worland,
Wyoming to perform all aspects of monitoring the project from the standpoint of cultural resources.
Frontier Archaeology has an outstanding reputation for independent review of a varity of projects
on a wide regional basis.
Physical access to the proposed site is sufficient by utilizing existing graded roads. Weight
limitations have been ferified and will not be exceeded. The time needed to execute the project will
be no longer than 120 days,
Nicholas V. Fleming/Tesoro del Alma requested permission to commence the extraction and
subsequent reclamation operation at TDA Lode 6 at the earliest possible time.
